Ganapati Festival Update
“Ganapati bappa morya, pudchya varshi laukar ya”. So we bid farewell to our beloved bappa yesterday at the Hindu Temple of Delaware and DVMMM did it full-on this time, with style - just like how we do it in Maharashtra!! There was an hour long miravnuk with everyone chanting bappa’s name, music and lot of dancing. Three cheers to the EC who took a lot of effort and came up with the procession decorations, music and yummy dinner!!

Description: The annual DVMMM Picnic brings together members of the DVMMM community for an outdoors event to come together, share excellent food, play some games, and catch up with your DVMMM friends in an informal way.
Lums Pond is built around the largest freshwater pond in Delaware. The park features excellent fishing, sports facilities, picnic area and pavilions, camping, boat rentals, horseback riding, a zipline/rope course, a nature center offering various outdoor programs, day camps and more on its 1,790 acres on the north side of the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal.
